Payment is kindly requested at the time or later on the day of the medical by BANK TRANSFER ONLY.
We are no longer accepting payment by cash, cheque or credit card.
A fully compliant receipt for your airline or employer will be provided at the time of the medical.
Please note that in the last year or so, the CAA have delegated a large amount of extra administration to AMEs. This extra work has become time consuming and will now be charged as per the last table below.
You will be aware of this change if you have called the CAA number recently. All sickness and absence is now coordinated and managed by individual AMEs.
Referral to the CAA will be carried out in complex cases or when the medical issue is a ‘mandatory referral’ (this is usually, but not exclusively for cardiology. psychiatry and in the case of malignant disease ).
ECG “over reading” by a cardiologist is also now administered by individual AMEs. (This used to be done at the CAA Cardiology Clinic. ). A routine report is included in your ECG RECORDING AND REPORTING fee, however if the cardiologist requests further investigations, the administration involved will also be charged as per Table 3 below.
